Day 7
A God of ACTION
for her devotional series
"For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do."
– Ephesians 2:10, NIV

Breathe. As we reach the end of our week together, that’s my advice to you. Breathe. You’ve been exposed to a bit more than you may be used to this week. A lot of darkness and heartbreak. But also a lot of justice and hope. Remember, we serve a God who is in control.

Breathe, because God loves people more than we can ever love them. He will use you if you let him. It may feel small, but that doesn’t mean it isn’t important. It’s almost like when you have this big, beautiful puzzle and there’s one piece missing. And all you can think is, "I have to find that piece!" You are that piece! Breathe and realize this huge problem will be fixed by all of us doing our small part.

As you move forward, I challenge you to find your role and act. Whether you’re praying for these precious girls, or you’re sharing their stories or you’re volunteering for an advocacy organization, no part is too small. You have a responsibility, and God will give you the strength to carry it out.

The Word of God strengthens, my sister. It builds up and heals. We, as women, have the law of kindness on our tongues. We must speak life. We must nurture and care for others.

Reveal. Expose. Remove. I believe in you. But more than that, he believes in you.

Here's how you can pray for her, listen to her, and speak up for her today:

PRAY FOR HER: Father, I pray for the girls I’ve met this week. And I pray for the thousands of others whose names I do not know but whose stories you hold near. Help me to quiet my heart. Help me to breathe.

LISTEN TO HER: As we close out this week, we invite you to explore more stories about vulnerable girls who have found hope here. Read their stories, learn about the issues they face and find ways to act and advocate!

SPEAK UP FOR HER: Know someone who needs to hear the message that God is a God of ACTION? Share this devotional today!
